No matter the weight
or the pain that we bear
an unshakable faith
rescues us from despair;

Faith that our brothers
will lessen our weight
with untold acts of kindness
while politicians debate;

Faith that our sisters
with compassion will give
gifts from their heart
so that others may live;

Faith that our Father
watching us from above,
will heal shattered souls
with forgiveness and love.
